[Qgis-user] How can I change the projection center? e.g. center world map on Pacific Ocean

Is there an easy way to change the projection center for a word map. I have in mind maybe a Miller or Robinson projection and I want to center it somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. Sorry if this wasn’t clear before.
