[Qgis-user] self-learning resources

dear group,

last week I was asked for a recommendation for resources for self-teaching by an almost complete GIS beginner. Of course I have some ideas, but does anyone of you have the ultimate hint for a good and systematic start into GIS in general and/or QGIS ?
