[Qgis-user] SHP does not obey to change its SRC to a new one

Dear All,
Excuse my very basic question and please explain me the steps to solve this
problem:
When I import a SHP to be place above a DEM under WGS 4326 it does not
adjust to this SRC after assigning this code and even when it is
reprojected remains with the original UTM-SRC. This problem comes from time
to time.
