[Qgis-user] XYZ tiles in CRS other than web Mercator

I am not sure if the OP is talking about TMS or WMTS:

  https://www.ogc.org/standards/wmts/

With the phrase XYZ tiles, I suspect TMS:

  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tile_Map_Service

As I understand it, TMS is 3857, and WMTS can carry a CRS.
