   you could consider QAD plugin which allows to draw a new circle and modifing the radius of a circle already existing...

Hello,

My requirement is to draw a few circles on the map but with radii that I
can vary quickly.  The circles need to be changed frequently for
comparative purposes.

The radius could be obtained from a value in the attribute table or,
better still, from an on-screen dialog box.

Would this be possible?  Thanks very much…
