[Qgis-user] Maximized screen error

i am using QGIS 3.22
i have two monitors on my machine and use windows 11.  for some reason,
when i start up QGIS, the program fills my entire screen on one monitor.
on the other screen, i can see the QGIS tab on the bottom bar, but it will
not allow me to maximize or minimize the program.
The move tab is active, but it will not move the program screen on the
other monitor.
is there a way to restore my previous views so that i can move QGIS and
stretch over one or both monitors?
all other programs are working fine, just QGIS
