[Qgis-user] Aerial/satellite Image Segmentation : How to skip/not modelize shadows ?

Dear all,
With OTB via QGIS, I'm able to generate some interesting segmentations,
particularly using the Generic Region Merging tool. The input image is one
20 cms aerial Ortho Infrared Color (green, red, and near infrared bands) or
a Spot6/7 multispectral satellite image (1m50 resolution). One of the
limitations, however, is the modeling/segmentation of shadows.
I've attached a screenshot. Do you have any ideas on how to overcome this
problem/skip/not modelize/segments shadows ?
Thanks so much.
