Dear QGIS Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on an airflow
simulation project using Ansys Fluent, where I aim to simulate airflow
dynamics through an urban city area. To proceed with the simulation, I
require a 3D watertight geometry of the city to input into the simulation
software.
I was wondering if anyone in the community could provide guidance or
suggest methods within QGIS to help create or export such a 3D map
geometry, specifically one that is watertight and suitable for use in CFD
simulations. I am open to using QGIS for generating the necessary 3D models
and exporting them in formats like STL or other compatible formats for use
in Ansys Fluent.
If anyone has experience with this type of project or can direct me to
relevant resources or tools, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Thank you in advance for your time and help!
Best regards,
