I suggest that you and everybody else not encourage "AI" and all its problems by looking at them. Some actual human-written correct content to read: https://docs.qgis.org/3.44/en/docs/user_manual/index.html and specifically: https://docs.qgis.org/3.44/en/docs/user_manual/print_layout/index.html What you are trying to do is not odd, so it should be straightforward. I recommend that you have a project where you only have layers that you want in the map. That should ease the process of displaying the Legend. I forget the customization details, but pretty much everything I used to know was in the manual. The icon looks a bit like an abacus, and you can find it at the top of the map window and at the top of the attribute window. 2. To work only on your selected features, select the box 3. You want to update an existing field - from NULL to your value 4. Select the field that you want to work on. 5. Enter in here the value, ?string?, or expression you want in the selected fields. This is a useful and powerful tool - but if you don?t make sure that it?s only working on the selected fields (2) it will work on all the entries in the field, and you?ll need to rollback. > On 19 Mar 2026, at 1:04?am, ????? via QGIS-User wrote: > > > I would like to create a land use plan (Fl?chennutzungsplan) in QGIS. This will avoid problems with rendering, it will be visible only if zoomed in to very large scale. So the steps are: 1) generate or draw North-South line 2) generate very small buffer around it 3) cut your geometries with buffer to generate a small gap at meridian location See video where I've explained how to avoid this problem when using custom meridian location: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M-Q0AinuiY&t=3560s You can download GPKG file with project that includes models and data so you see steps in my model how i solved it: https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/wiki/QOD-July-2025#topic-teaching-projections-in-classroom-with-qgis---workshop Srda?an pozdrav / Kind regards, Vedran Stojnovi?. sri, 11. o?u 2026. u 08:17 ??? ???????? via QGIS-User < qgis-user at lists.osgeo.org> napisao je: > > Hello, > > I am working with Arctic Ocean datasets in QGIS and would like to ask for > advice regarding CRS handling and geometries crossing the 180? meridian. > > For Arctic data, I normally use EPSG:3996 (WGS 84 / Arctic Polar > Stereographic) as the project CRS. The transition has reached a stage where many environments are now completely dropping support for the X11 server. This presents a challenge to Linux QGIS users, as the current QGIS versions have limitations and bugs when run in a Wayland environment. This library has long been deprecated by the Qt maintainers, and was finally completely removed in Qt 6. A direct consequence of this is that functionality which relied on Qt Webkit has been dropped in QGIS 4.0. This includes: - The print layout HTML item - The HTML annotation item This project will resurrect the print layout HTML item. The underlying low-level changes will also facilitate a potential replacement for the HTML annotation item, but this is out-of-scope for the current project. Note that the functionality required for the QGIS HTML item is also required for some third-party QGIS plugins, such as the DataPlotly plugin. These plugins are currently broken on QGIS 4.x as a result. Please see full details of the proposal at https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/377. Discussion and comments welcome!
