You don't provide any information that other experienced users could
leverage to help answer your question.

How many pixels in your raster?

What format is your raster?

What steps did you follow to execute the interpolation?

Are you sure your process is not blocked by a modal screen requesting input?

How much memory / what processor / what operating system are you using?

Have you tried any other operations on the raster? Like for example
extracting a small piece and running the same interpolation on that?

It seems unlikely to me that you will receive any useful response without
at least some of that information.
