[Qgis-user] QGIS Issue – Features Disappearing During Editing

possibly the layers that are not behaving correctly may not have a
coordinate system assigned automatically.
To confirm, look at layer properties.
Also, select a feature from the feature list and zoom to its extent. Does
it appear? If so is it in the correct location compared with background
data?
