Hi Nasari

Your system seems capable. I am sure AI will tell you how to optimally run
it, from a quick look it mentions:

   - *Enable Max Render Threads:* Go to Settings -> Options -> Rendering
and ensure *Max render threads* is set to match your high core count
(you can safely set this to 16 or 20 to allow lightning-fast background map
   rendering).
   - *Maximize Feature Cache:* Under the same Rendering menu, enable *Enable
feature caching where possible* to utilize your 64 GB of RAM for
   smoother pan and zoom operations.
   - *Keep GPU Drivers Updated:* Ensure you are using NVIDIA's *RTX
Enterprise / Quadro Production Branch drivers* (rather than the New
Feature branch) for maximum stability in GIS environments.

Here are some tests you can do.
1) Rebuild and add the data layer one by one and undertake your actions to
see if there is a data layer there that triggers it
2) Create a new user profile
<https://docs.qgis.org/3.44/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/qgis_configuration.html#working-with-user-profiles>.
This will bring in a clean project without other plugins loaded in. Test it
with the data again to see if it still behaves the same
3) Unless you need QGIS v4, I would go back to QGIS v3.44 the Long Term
Release and see if it also happens in this version.
4) Check the projections of your data as well. If there are multiple
projections, then this could be an issue.

All the best!
Em
