[Qgis-user] LTS flatpak only at version 3.28.9?

I've invested some time into this...

But:
- the flatpak/hub community does not want to have 2 branches for the same application anymore (hence only the 'stable' (flatpak) branch is now updated.. (as application ID "org.qgis.qgis")
- I cloned the repo and tried to create another flatpak application like "org.qgis.qgis.ltr", BUT ran in to some issues. Maybe fixable for others in Laax (I maybe help remote).
-1- there is discussion about the name (on chat, peeps proposed org.qgis.qgis_lts or so...
-2- I hoped to be able to create a second (desktop) icon for the two branches, so if you have installed them both, you can distinguish the ltr and stable QGIS's from each other
-3- during the (flatpak) build, QGIS is 'installed' within the flatpak using it's own Makefile, and creating desktop.xml and other needed linux files during that. I dare not to touch those crafted configs/files to change that... But if Makefile/script guru's join we can do this...

So: IF others are interested, please join (during Laax?) and let's try to do this?

Regards,

Richard Duivenvoorde

PS I found it not so easy to discuss stuff with the flatpak peeps (except with @aleixpol)... They have very strict rules/namings/ideas...
