<tt><font size="+1">I'm using qgis 1.4.0 under FC11.<br>

Under Edit/Options/Render I set Number of features to draw before

updating display to 100.<br>

Then I load a shape file with several 100000 linears.  qgis doesn't

show anything on the display until the whole shape is rendered.  Is

this a BUG or do I have my settings wrong or what.  I expected to see

it draw and update 100 features at a time (actually I seem to recall

seeing this work this way in the past).  I had to build my own since

there isn't an rpm of 1.4.0 for Fedora could I have missed something in

the build?<br>
