<span id="result_box" class="" lang="en"><span class="hps">Hello</span> <span class="hps">Ramon</span> <span class="hps">Andiņach</span><span>,</span><br><br> <span class="hps">I</span> <span class="hps">formatted</span> <span class="hps">my computer</span> <span class="hps">and did</span> <span class="hps">the installation</span> <span class="hps">and gave</span> <span class="hps">the error</span><span>,</span> <span class="hps">so I</span> <span class="hps">uninstalled the</span> <span class="hps">Qgis</span> <span class="hps">and cleaned</span> <span class="hps">all the</span> <span class="hps">registry key</span><span>.</span> <span class="hps">I returned to</span> <span class="hps">install</span> <span class="hps">Qgis</span> <span class="hps">and when</span> <span class="hps">I open</span> <span class="hps">the program</span><span>,</span> <span class="hps">it appears</span> <span class="hps">the same</span> <span class="hps">error message</span><span>.</span><br>

I understand it means that somewhere (and probably in the c:\windows folders)  is another copy that is a different version.<br>

Get rid of the other one and everything should start up.<br>
