Hello,
I'm working on Cameroon coastal layer shapefile and i would like generate
several unilateral buffers : buffers only on one side (toward ocean) and no

If you have a polygon layer of Cameroon then create the buffer as
usual, and use the "Difference" function in Vector->Geoprocessing
tools to clip out the part over the continent. The "difference
layer" will be the boundary of Cameroon.
