<div>The ‘save as’ command in qgis seems to strip out attribute data when creating files of certain sorts such as .gpx and also gives problems with .kml where the markers are not identified with any of the attributes. Are there any workarounds for these problems?</div>

<div>More detail on the .gpx issue, it will produce a .gpx file if you select ‘skip attribute creation’ but if you don’t select this then it fails with the error message:</div>
