<div><br></div><div>If you still want to use the cutting-edge qgis version, check in your software sources (Ubuntu Software Center > Edit > Software Sources; then Other Software tab) for something with "<a href="http://qgis.org/debian-nightly" target="_blank">http://qgis.org/debian-nightly</a>" in it. Check that it now reads "<a href="http://qgis.org/debian-nightly" target="_blank">http://qgis.org/debian-nightly</a> quantal", and enable it. Then from the command line, run "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qgis". If that still doesn't work, I'd remove qgis (sudo apt-get remove qgis), and then try to reinstall it (sudo apt-get install qgis).</div>
