Hi QGIS users,

I use QGIS 1.8 and not a new user but just met this situation below:
My map doesn't appear in the Composer after I clicked "Add New Map". I checked the scale, the map projection, and the data frame projection are all correct. I have been trying to check and uncheck the "Control rendering order" and "render". And also check the map scale in the composer. All are correct. But why does the map still not appear?

Thanks.
Annisa
Apologies if you have tried this already but you don't mention it, but did you click the 'Set to map canvas extent' button?

Does anyone know of the existence of a plugin that allows one to easily
search for a string or specific value in one or more layer in a project?

Something like the OSMSearch but for the project layers.

Thanks,
