<p dir="ltr">RT Sql Layer was overseeded by DBManager which is a core plugin, so it works on QGIS 2.x.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Run DBManager, connect to a database, click on the "Sql Windows" button in the toolbar, test your query and/or load it by ticking the check "Load as layer" on the bottom.</p>
