Hi,

The Table Manager Plugin is useful, but I think it should have
some other tools :

- possibility to change the type and the length of a field (not
only his name) : for example : Country_Code, Num, 10
==> Country_Code, String, 50 ...
(this would be great because when we import a layer from a csv
file, QGIS automaticaly recognizes the type of fields and length,
with many possibilities of errors, and no way to force it ...).

- possibilty to delete a layer (I mean, really deleate all the
files in the computer, not only close it in QGIS).

I don't really know how to submit those ideas (it might yet have
been done by another one ?), and furtheless how to help to do it.
If someone have the knowledge or skills that I don't have, please
let us know how to help ...

And thanks a lot to all people that makes this project being so
dynamic !
