<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div>Hi,<br>Is possibile in a qgis project to define an alias for the field names of the layers to obtain a better understandable for user when they do an identify ?<br><br></div>Hi hope that this will have a retrun also on the response at a GetFeatureInfo request in qgis-server.<br>
<br>Actually qgis-server in a getfeatureinfo request return the exact field-name as available in the shapefile.<br></div>They often are un-understandabel for a standard user.<br><br></div>This is less important on qgis desktop because qgis desktop is for a power user, but a qgis-server is for give a service to an home-user that more probably nothing know of the shapefile and its field names.<br>
