Create a vrt of all the DEM files (gdalbuildvrt).<br clear="none">2. Extract contour from the VRT file (gdal_contour).<br clear="none"><br clear="none">Both tools are available in the Raster menu.<br clear="none">You can
also script this and run the process for each DEM file but you<br clear="none">will have separate contour layers that stops at the edge of your DEM<br clear="none">tile.
