<div dir="ltr"> working on this qgis2leaf plugin I've came across a different definition of<br>
transparency and alpha in a layer transparency and a symbol alpha value. I<br>
understand that this transparency and alpha are not the same but it<br>
describes somehow the same.<br>
I compare those values and for a normal feature in QGIS:<br>
layer.layerTransparency()<br>
gives:<br>
0<br>
layer.rendererV2().symbol().alpha()<br><div id=":2a9" class="">
gives:<br>
1.0<br>
I would like to get both "0" as the symbol is clearly visible and would lik<br>
to suggest to change layer.rendererV2().symbol().alpha() to<br>
layer.rendererV2().symbol().transparency()<br>
In the dialog to change the smybol it also give the description<br>
transparency in both the layer transparency as well as symbol<br>
transparency...<br>
where can I address this?<br>

I have drawn an area in Qgis and now needs some volumes.<br>
I right click on my layer and choose to save it as comma-based value.<br>
However, the layer contains no volume.<br>
Why might that be?<br>

of course theses layers are now twice in the layer tree. Once in the<br>
upper leaf derived from the qgs file and once in the lower "Background<br>
Layers" leaf. For user interaction I did some more scripting:<br>
If the user toggles visibility of the layer in the upper leaf this<br>
toggling is ignored and the corresponding layer is toggled in the lower<br>
leaf.<br>

Only works with SHAPE files (by the look of it)<br>
There are some construct in my files that I don't think I can preserve<br>
if I "go to shape".<br>
I've got a way to do it, but I am trying to use BASH scripting "all the<br>
way".<br>

Are you using 32bit OSGEO4W or 64bit OSGEO4W64?<br>

I just did a fresh 32 bit install of qgis-dev (on 64 bit Windows 7), and<br>
I have ESRI FileGDB and OpenFileGDB in the dropdown box for Add Vector<br>
layer -> Directory.<br>
<br>
QGIS 2.2 32 bit standalone has none of them, and qgis-dev 32 bit with<br>
filegdb Version 1.10 only has OpenFileGDB.<br>
