So I've got a question and maybe this is something I've missed in
the greater discussion.....

I've got QGIS 2.6 installed in windows 7 from the OSGEO installer
and the standallone installer. Osgeo comes with gdal 1.11.1
I've got QGIS 2.6 installed on a Ubuntu box (14.04) and it has gdal
1.11 installed. (ubuntugis repo)

So I can create a file based geodatabase with ArcGIS 10.2.2 and I
can't read it with QGIS based on 1.11.1 (ESRI or OpenGDB Driver). I
can read it on Ubuntu with the OpenGDB Driver . I popped open a
terminal and 1.11.1 can "read" the filegdb - but can't see any of
the feature classes - ogrinfo -al Test.gdb returns
successful but shows no feature class info. 1.11 under Ubuntu
returns feature class info on the FileGDB.

So in typing all of that I think I answered my question
unfortunately....

But I'll ask anyway - Can 2.6 with 1.11.1 read a ESRI File Based
Geodatabase?

Thanks much,
