<ol>
<li>Create a project with a single polygon layer<br>

<li>Click on another polygon. You get a new "Feature attributes"

the windows task bar besides the QGIS icon. <br>

If you don't activate "Auto open forms", QGIS works as expected
(like in previous versions of QGIS). <br>
If you have "Auto open forms" activated and manually close the
"Feature attributes" dialogues using the windows task bar, the
dialogues *and* their associated selection disappear, one by

<li>If you click on the "Clear results" button in dialogue
"Identify Results" the accumulated selected features and their
associated "Feature attributes" dialogues is *not* removed.<br>

<li>If you make the layer with the selected objects *invisible*,
the selection is *not* removed.<br>

Hi Again!
The "Identify Results" Dock has got a button on top that is called
"Clear Results" on mouseover.
That now works for me every time (but it took me also some time to
find it - but once you got it it is clear that it belongs there)
As the "Identify Results" Dock is automatically focused when you use
the tool it should not be a problem any more.

And now it create a minidump if I remove the layer…
I think I must create a bugreport.

There should be a unselect button on the dock with the info.

Hi Lene!
Good Question, First workaround: Enable "Auto open form" and use
identify .. If you close the popped up auto form window the red
markers are also gone.
