Thanks for the reply,
I have used the map rotation option within the composer, but the
layer text also rotates, which is what I am trying to avoid.
An example of what I am on about would be where you have a Label
layer, with your text horizontal (on Map Canvas).
When you rotate the map in the composer, the text rotates also, what
I was hoping for is the option to set two rotations for the test,
one in the Map Canvas for viewing and editing and the other in the
Composer for Printing.
go to angle in the composer, item properties, click the drop
down at field name angle,n choose your preferred angle. Also
make sure you lock the map layer so the text or any changes
you make in the composer, doesn't affect the map layer n vice
versa
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to auto Rotate text in
Composer?
I have a Map, which needs to be rotated to Print out on A4, having
North
at an angle, which means all my horizontal text is skewed in
composer.
I have at present added additional fields to allow for Label
Relocation and rotation, which gets me over the issue in the
meantime,
It does of course skew the text in the canvas.
It would be nice if there was a way in Composer to select these
field
values, this would leave the Text in the Canvas as is, and rotate
it in
the composer.
If this is not available yet, maybe it could be added in a future
update.
