Hi xof,

Maybe this is the same issue like this:

Basically, check if this SQL statements helps to "refresh" your
    view's fields:

The problem described is independent of projects or
restarting QGIS. The problem is always present already
in the window for adding a new spatialite-layer
(ctrl-shift-L). There you can get a list of available
fields, when pushing the button for filtering a table
("Set Filter" Button)... And this list of available
fields is sort of a preview of what you're going to get
when adding the table as a layer to your qgis-project.

So is it possible that this "add-layer-manager" might be
the source of the problem, maybe?

Do you think it's worth filing a bug?

          Thank you for your help
