<p>Hi Carlos,</p>
<p>I fixed this 4h ago and added a regression test so this never
happens again.</p>
<p>Just wait for the next point release or use an upcoming nightly
build.</p>

<div>Hi users list, Hi developers<br>
<br>
</div>
Just to report about strange behavior in QGIS 2.16 - Ubuntu
16.04: In attributes table, when I try to order a field of
integer values by clicking in their header, it's ordered as a
text field.<br>
<br>
This field was created as an integer one, their values where
taken from a field with just numbers, but with text format, so
in order to populate my integer field, in field calculator
i've created an integer field, with 10 digits and populated
their values as: to_integer(field_T). Field_T is the one with
numbers as text. The new created field is, in fact, an
integers field, but this issue persists.<br>
<br>
Perhaps, Does QGIS 2.16 need some adjust in this portion of
code?.<br>
