If so, make the file in a layer that uses a CRS that uses meter, like a UTM zone 18, then densify the geometry. This will add points along the line of the triangle. There is a tool for that. In QGIS 2.18.0, when I rotate a rectangle, the shape changes. If it's a
<br>horizontal rectangle, when it's rotated vertical, the width is cut in
<br>half and it's twice as long. When it's rotated to an angle in between
<br>horizontal or vertical, the shape changes to a parellelogram. But if I
<br>rotate it to it's original position, the shape returns to normal.
<br>Something is wrong with the math in this tool (Rotate Feature(s)).
