    <p>In the processing Toolbox there is a tool called Variable
      Distance Buffer. <br>
    </p>
    <p>If you add a field to your data giving each type a width (field
      called bufferwidth and it is 10, 20, 30 , 40 meters for each type)
      - you can use that tool to automatically buffer each fault
      accordingly. <br>

              to obtain a shape with

              sample “ normal
              fault” is 30 m, for the “inverse fault “ is 20 m, for the
              “overthrust” is 50 m
