Dear all,<br>

Using Qgis 2.18.9 on Windows (OSGeo4W64) I'm trying to import a .csv
file and adding a text field. This is what I do:<br>
1. add the .csv using add vector layer<br>
2. open attribute table then use the field calculator<br>
3. add text field, OK<br>
4. toggle editing, save edits when asked.<br>
I then get the following error messages:<br>
