        I would like to use the mean value of a raster data set for

        further calculation within gdal --calc.<br>

        Is it possible to do this within one step?<br>

        If not can I write the mean value for each tiff-file in another

        file with the same name to use it in the second step for

        calculation?<br>

        What would be the format for this file, where I write my mean

        value? Is it a txt file?<br>

        I normally use OSgeo and call batch files to process line by

        line.<br>

        Perhaps someone has a link to an example.<br>
