The reason you find the slope from a .6m DEM "unrealistic" is that
the level of detail of the DEM is inconsistent with the scale you
are thinking about the landscape. Imagine you have what you perceive
as flat ground. Now place a 1m diameter bolder on that ground. In
the .6M DEM you will suddenly have a region of high slope, which
seems incorrect for level ground. You need a fair amount of
smoothing to get the slope map you intuitively interpret as correct.
The 30M DEM provides that sort of averaging.<br>

As to why you can't resample to .6M, you'll have to provide more
information on what is happening. Are you getting an error message?
Is Qgis crashing? But I also have to ask, why do you want to
resample back to .6M? There is no more information to be had in the
resampled image, just a false sense of new information. <br>

I tried to produce a slope from a DEM with under 0,6 m
resolution. QGIS fulfills the task but the result isn't
