<div dir="ltr">Dear QGIS community,<div><br></div><div>I found out that the <i>selection-color</i> is overridden by the QGIS project setting. Changing the <i>selection-color </i>from QGIS's setting will not change the QGIS project setting. So it seems the selection color in the QGIS setting is only used for setting the default color for the <i>selection-color</i>. Changing the selection color from the QGIS setting will not affect the opened project. Users will need to update the <i>selection-color</i> on the Project's setting.</div><div><br></div><div>Is it possible to set the
<i>selection-color</i>
to always the same as the QGIS setting selection color?</div><div><br></div><div>I wonder if this kind of setting exists so that the user doesn't need to change the project setting (especially in the shared project file). Perhaps set the value to a variable (although I couldn't a variable that refers to this
<i>selection-color
</i>
setting) or just simply add a checkbox to use the QGIS default color (and added it to the project file).</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!</div><div><br></div><div>Best regards</div><div><div><br></div>-- <br><div dir="ltr" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div>Ismail Sunni</div><div>Software Engineer</div><div><a href="http://ismailsunni.id" target="_blank">ismailsunni.id</a><br><div><a href="http://ismailsunni.wordpress.com" target="_blank">ismailsunni.wordpress.com</a></div></div></div></div></div></div>
