Why does the shift to vector fill patterns increase the file size so
much? I'm pretty sure the pdf standard supports vector fill
patterns, so all that's necessary is to define the basic tile
pattern, then specify clipping boundary for the region. It seems
like this would generate smaller files than raster fills, not
larger. <br>
