<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">It would be nice if the CRS selection control for the grid was similar to that for the map, with a drop down allowing to choose to follow the map, or the project, or set manually.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">An easier but helpful change might be for the button to display “Map CRS” rather than “Change…” when nothing is selected.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">You have to keep it blank. If no CRS is set for the grid, it uses the map's CRS. When you first add the grid to the map, its CRS is unset by default (at least in QGIS 3.10).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">However, there is not an obvious option to clear the grid CRS once you have set it. <o:p></o:p></p>
