<p>can you secify your data format? is it GPX? Not all data formats
are editable in QGIS. You can try with right mouse click on your
data layer -> export -> save features as and then choose a
format like shapefile or better geopackage...</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am a first-time user of QGIS (3.16.0) for
orienteering mapping. I have been through the tutorials and
have a reasonable plot from my GPS and sketched field data,
but now have to rotate the data to Magnetic North. I select
all my data, but the “Rotate Feature(s)” (and all the other
“Move” buttons) remains greyed and inoperative. After some
looking, I can’t find where the tutorials deal with this type
of editing.<o:p></o:p></p>
