In your categorization in the symbology tab, you appear to have
deleted the "all others" category. This means that if you add
points with a category not already in the list the points won't
appear, leaving you totally baffled as to where they went. This
only really matters if you save the styling from this layer and
attempt to apply it to another set of points in this or another
