[QGIS-ZA-user] Georeferencing maps in QGIS

Hi Hanco,

By default the georeferencer plugin is installed with QGIS. It is 
sitting under your Raster menu. And it is straight forward. Add as many 
points with known coordinates as possible and you will have a pretty 
good georeferenced raster.

Open the raster image, click on an intersection or point or anything 
that you have coordinates for OR you can choose from the QGIS canvas 
with vector layers (roads, rivers, intersections, points etc.). That's it.
