[SAC] PostgreSQL on Telascience server

Hello,

this is Christoph from Mapbender. Thanks to Howard for setting up our 
accounts; now I have a question about installing PostgreSQL on the 
Telascience server.

I ran "sudo yum install postgresql" and the installation completed, but 
there were two errors (I have attached a log file).

According to "sudo rpm -qa |grep post":
postfix-pflogsumm-2.2.2-2
postgresql-8.0.8-1.FC4.1
postfix-2.2.2-2
postgresql-libs-8.0.8-1.FC4.1

postgresql seems to be installed. But there is no start script in 
/etc/init.d/.

Do you know what might be wrong?
