Comment:

 John reports zope was not running and that he has started it.  It is
 apparently working ok now.

 I'm leaving this ticket open, because I think we should somehow update
 this system to restart zope automatically on reboot.

 I'd add I found the machine in a poor state and I forced a reboot as the
 first attempt to fix things.
