The downloadable contents of Download.osgeo.org is backed up by rsync to
a tree on osgeo2 (the secondary peer1 host).  This is documented on
the download.osgeo.org wiki page.

note that no effort is currently made to backup configuration related
files on download.osgeo.org (controlling apache, and the ftp server) under
the assumption these could be quickly recreated if needed.
