Well, beyond the obvious easting, northing, elevation...

I'm personally in favor of letting Alex choose names.  Picking names is a
poor thing to do by high latency committee-over-email.

I'm in favor of naming the VMs based on their role or primary dns name.
So the Trac/SVN VM might be "tracsvnvm", and the mailman VM might just be
named lists since it's primary dns name will be lists.osgeo.org.
