Comment:

 This is an example of something that would fall under the "Projects
 responsibilities"; we provide infrastructure/tools, and projects need to
 do the legwork. I don't think there's any need to track the implementation
 of the infrastructure by projects in the SAC (instead, it should be
 tracked by the projects).

 This particular ticket is 2 years old; I expect further work will be done
 as part of the migration of the grass server to the projects VM, when the
 time comes. Given all this, I'm closing this ticket, as SAC is not going
 to take on the task of getting this implemented.
