"foss4g-*.org" regexp, used in other conferences. Domain name change can
 be considered.

I'll refer this discussion to the Marketing/Outreach committee, I don't
think it's ever been discussed as an org, people just went out and bought
domains. Consolidating would actually save everyone money since subdomains
cost $0 vs. $10-15/year (US $). The catch is loss of autonomy from SAC,
you'd need someone on SAC to update the DNS when you move servers around
(of course someone from your board can join SAC). +side is you can ask SAC
 for help with DNS.

discussed, nobody complained till now (which of course can change during
 time).

 look better?

I would have done europe.foss4g.org/2014 maybe with alias eu.foss4g and
euro.foss4g (with the main url defaulting to current year. But that's my
personal opinion from my own experiences. (ie I never remember foss4g-na I
almost always have to do a search for it).

 "foss4g-e.org"

So straight apache? Sure we can do that, perhaps on adhoc right now if
you're not sure what you plan to do.

 > # Either possibility to redirect the "2014.foss4g-e.org" to existing
external server, or (even better), offer space on OSGeo servers (I'll
clarify their needs then, suppose MySQL and PHP or similar things...)
 > # setup mail server, with addresses contact at ..., press at ..., sponsors at ...

Please clarify where these should redirect to, we don't host email boxes
 only redirects and lists.

 > # rename "foss4g-cee at lists.osgeo.org" to "foss4g-e at ...."

We should resolve the domain question before changing the name. So this is
 a merger?

 > # Who will have access: one question: who has 'osgeo account'? Is that
me, since registered on trac? Or how can I get one? How can anybody else?
 Thakns for clarificaiton.
 >
Yes, if you logged into trac that is an OSGeo account.

 > Thank you very kindly for your statement and opinion, how to organize
the infrastructure (if so). We can clarify this at Board meeting, if you
 prefer http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Board_Meeting_2013-10-17#Agenda

 Thanks,Alex
