[SAC] osgeo1 migration

Hi folks,

three Drupal-based sites, "www", "fdo" and "mapguide" have been
migrated from "osgeo1" to the Web VM - alongside with a 'few' rewrites
("it.osgeo.org" and the like).  The bare migration to a new machine was
easy compared to identifying duplicate files, directories and configs,
finding out *what* to migrate and *why*.

Approx. two dozend DNS A-records pointing to the same host have been
converted into CNAME's, some obviously dead DNS records have been
removed ("ldaptest", "trac2"), because they already disappeared long
time ago.  More DNS cruft is still awaiting migration, cleanup or
removal.

These pairs of DNS entries for example are all pointing to the same
machine:

  conference / conference2
  fdo / fdo2
  journal / journal2
  mapguide / mapguide2
  wiki / wiki2
  www / www2

Does anybody object against removing the respective *2 DNS entries and
configs ?
