Hi,

I will bring this up in the project meeting on Monday as a first topic 
to discuss.
The first requirement is a must to maintain references in commit log.
About the second requirement: it would be ok to just close all the open 
tickets with a comment "see <newurl>"

More details on Monday.

Yes, we do have OSGeoLive specific wiki pages, but I do not think those 
should be moved.
