 Trying to build maven-projects depending on osgeo maven repos I get
 timeouts when trying to download resources. even trying to open the main
 page gives a timeout and
 http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/download.osgeo.org says
 download.osgeo.org is down as well.
 in #osgeo strk seemd to have fixed it (reboot?) but that latste only for a
 few minutes/seconds - seems to be a bigger problem.
