 This is an announcement of company leadership.

 Each person is listed as VP (for example I am a VP for the GeoTools
 project.)

 In this role  am responsible for the actions of the GeoTools project
 steering committee. Which in turn is responsible for the actions of the
 committers.

 Project policy in keeping with direction from the board (for example
 introducing code of conduct to show due care for online interactions to
 minimize osgeo liability for behaviour on our email lists and
 communication channels).

 This forms a chain of responsibility; which defensible in a legal sense.

 This is not a handy contract list please do not treat it as such. If you
 wish to make make a wiki page that may be  appropriate?
